Stability: powder form VBU will be stable when stored in a cool dry place away from sunlight and moisture.
Fastness: the whiteness imparted by VBU on fabric is fast to light, chlorine, acid-alkali, perspiration and heat.
APPLICATION:
Exhaust:
In Open vessels/Tanks: the material is treated for 30 minutes at room temperature in bath containing 0.05%-2% Optical Brightener VBU calculated on weight the fabric. An addition of 5-10g/L of glaubers salt will be better in exhaust process.
Padding:
The material is padded with solution 0f 0.5-0.4g/L of brightener VBU at room temperature. The concentration of solution depends on the nature of the fabric and degree of whiteness required. It is advisable to maintain the concentration of brightener VBU in padding mangle trough throughout the process.
